This is the fifth edition of Baltic Metropolises Innovation Strategy (BaltMet Inno) project e-news presenting overview and final activities of the project.
Since the last newsletter, a lot of events have been organized in the framework of Baltmet Inno project.
Representatives from partner cities and BDF shared their view on current outlook on Baltic Sea Region branding and cooperation ideas in future. BaltMet partner city representatives were also presenting their experiences, thoughts and suggestion in city marketing and innovation related marketing activities including addressing innovation and entrepreneurship aspects into local and regional marketing strategies. 
Speakers were giving presentations which were focused on innovation, cooperation, networking, and knowledge exchange among triple-helix partners – metropolises, entrepreneurs, and universities. Future technology science park visions were presented as well as some experiences and suggestions from already existing ones given.
Presentations of HighTech Clusters and its potentials from BaltMet partner regions, theoretical frameworks of cluster development, empirically observed success criteria and proposals for development of networking instruments which foster transnational cooperation initiatives were given.
To mark closing of the project BaltMet Inno final conference "Baltic Sea Region- Archipelago of Innovation?" was organized in Tallinn on November 6-7 with participation from partners and stakeholders from Baltic Metropolises; Representatives of public sector, businesses and academia from the BSR and EU; European, national, regional and local policy makers.
Speakers were giving presentations focused on design of innovative city environments, cluster development and transnational cluster cooperation, innovation and knowledge in city marketing, as well as on innovation competences and entrepreneurial skills. Within the BaltMet Inno project further cooperation initiatives were suggested and discussed at brainstorming workshop “Prospects for future Baltmet Project in Innovation Promotion”
