Work Package 5

Innovation Policy Framework in the Baltic Sea Region

The aim of Work Package 5 is to create a common transnational innovation policy framework for the Baltic metropolises.

The objective is to analyse and elaborate the key elements of transnational innovation policy framework by summing up and further development of the results from other Work Packages. Work Package 5 exploits also experiences from other successful transnational co-operations in the Baltic Sea Region.

The activities will lead to:

  • established and increased coordination and cooperation in innovation policies between Baltic metropolises
  • increased awareness and recognition among local, regional, national and EU policy level and among decision makers about joint interests and needs of large metropolitan areas in the Baltic Sea Region

Work Package 5 working group is represented by members from each partner metropolitan region.

Work Package 5 is coordinated by the EVU Center for Business Start Up, Growth and Development.
