BaltMet Inno WP 3 "Cluster Development" final event conference

On November 13th BaltMet Inno WP 3 "Cluster Development" conference "Transnational Cluster Alliances - Connecting Neighbours in the Baltic Sea Region" hosted by TSB Innovationsagentur Berlin GmbH in cooperation with WISTA MANAGEMENT GMBH took place in Berlin
The conference started with presentations of HighTech Clusters and its potentials from BaltMet partner regions and a comment on requirements for inter-regional cooperation’s from eastern European countries' point of view. 
The second contained theoretical frameworks of cluster development and it’s empirically observed success criteria as well as a conceptualization of cluster alliances and its implications for BaltMet Inno (which is also a major part of the WP 3 final report, which was developed in cooperation with the Freie Universität Berlin).
The third part of the conference consisted of proposals for development of networking instruments which foster transnational cooperation initiatives as well as science and technology park representatives from Helsinki, Berlin, and Stockholm were introducing participants with their experiences and management models. 
At the end of event there was a presentation of Berlin’s photonics cluster accompanied by a guided tour of one of Germany's leading research institutes in the field of photonics, the "Ferdinand-Braun-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik"
